π About Fruit Ninja
Fruit Ninja is Halfbrick's 2010 swipe classic. Fruit flies up. You slice it. Bombs end the run if you hit them. Combos pay for showing off.
It is not Slice It All's flipping knife platforms. Fruit Ninja is a dojo and a blade that follows your swipe. Browser ports keep classic and sometimes zen-style modes. The phone original used a finger; a mouse works as a worse finger.
Fruit Ninja in one cutting board:
- Swipe or drag to slice
- Bombs as instant fail in classic mode
- Combo scoring for fruit clustered in one swipe
- Halfbrick's ninja presentation
Cut the Rope also uses a swipe, but that swipe is scissors for puzzles. Fruit Ninja is score-attack.
How to Play Fruit Ninja
Drag across fruit, not bombs. One long curve through a cluster beats five panicked taps. In classic, a bomb slice ends the game. Missed fruit usually costs lives.
