Earn to Die is Not Doppler's 2011 side-view driving game. You smash through a zombie desert, die, spend the cash on a nastier vehicle, and try to reach the next stage.
It is not a serious zombie sim. Airtime, boost, and a snowplow full of bones are the fantasy. Earn to Die 2 later changes maps and the garage; this first Earn to Die is the dusty original that lived on Flash portals.
Earn to Die's loop:
- Side-view driving through zombie highways
- Run-based cash spent in a garage
- Upgrades for engine, tires, armor, and weapons
- Set pieces that ask for speed rather than stealth
If you want a tower defense, this is the wrong undead game. Earn to Die is a car going right until it cannot.
How to Play Earn to Die
Accelerate, brake, and rotate in the air with the keys on the overlay (often arrows). Land on wheels. Spend money on power first if you stall on hills, armor if zombies strip the engine. Boost when a packed crowd would stop a stock car.
