π About Slither.io
Slither.io is Steve Howse's 2016 snake io. You steer a glowing worm, eat orbs, boost by spending length, and die if your face hits another snake's body.
It is Agar.io's cousin from the same boom year, with different murder: you want people to crash into you, not to swallow them as a blob. The map is a circle of pellets and corpses.
Slither.io's rules are snake-simple:
- Mouse or arrow steering
- Hold to boost (costs mass)
- Death on hitting another snake's side
- Pellets from food and from dead snakes
Agar.io splits blobs. Slither.io coils. Pick your flavor of io anxiety.
How to Play Slither.io
Follow the cursor. Eat dots. Boost with click or space to cut in front of a smaller snake. Circle a trapped player if you are huge. Never boost blindly into a wall of bodies.
