Flappy Bird is Dong Nguyen's 2013 tap game from .GEARS. One tap gives a flap. Gravity does the rest. Pipes wait with gaps that feel personal.
The original app was pulled from stores. HTML5 copies keep the idea alive without pretending to be a new genre. There is no upgrade tree. There is a score made of pipes you did not hit.
Flappy Bird is almost nothing, on purpose:
- Single tap / click flap
- Procedural pipe gaps
- Score by surviving, not by collecting coins
- Tiny bird, huge rage
Flappy Dunk adds a hoop. Flappy Bird is only pipes.
How to Play Flappy Bird
Click or tap to flap. Do not hold. Nudge through the center of each gap. Panic flapping into the pipe lip is the standard death.
