🏆 About Cut the Rope
Cut the Rope is ZeptoLab's 2010 physics puzzle. Candy hangs from ropes. You cut them so the candy swings, bounces, and lands in Om Nom's mouth, preferably grabbing stars on the way.
Bubbles, air cushions, and spiders show up as boxes go on. It is not Fruit Ninja; you are not slicing fruit for combo points. You are solving a little Rube Goldberg that happens to use a swipe as scissors.
Cut the Rope is built from these toys:
- Swipe to cut ropes
- Om Nom has to eat the candy to clear the box
- Stars as optional collectibles for a better clear
- Gadgets like bubbles and blowers in later boxes
Mobile made Cut the Rope famous. The browser ports keep the same scissors-and-candy idea.
How to Play Cut the Rope
Swipe across a rope to cut it. Wait if the candy needs to swing. Pop bubbles after they lift candy, not before. Feed Om Nom; touching spikes or missing his mouth restarts the box.
